Actually, you can restore your replaced file in Pages.
I have several ways to help recover your overwritten file on your Mac in Pages.
Way 1: Go to Pages Menu > File and browse all versions of that replaced document. If you can find its previous version, restore it.
Way 2: Check if you've backed up your document to any other destination, like an external hard drive.
Way 3: Use iBoysoft Data Recovery for Mac to get back the replaced files if you don't have a backup or revert it with the Pages built-in restore function.
