I'd been using Tuxera FOREVER. However, I found that many of my external hard drives that had once been READ/WRITE had arbitrarily reverted to READ-ONLY. Tuxera doesn't have a convenient way to change from READ-only to READ/WRITE. This has been a MAJOR issue for my drives. iBoy easily corrects this issue, allowing me to avoid reformatting drives that had previously been just fine.
This didn't end up working for me, it did recognize my unmountable hard drive but it did find some of my files. They gave me a full refund and that's amazing since most companies wouldn't if their product didn't do what you needed.
