How To Decrypt A Drive From A Dead Windows Laptop?

My hard disk works fine, but my laptop won't turn on. To send the laptop in for repair, I must retrieve the data from it. BitLocker is used to encrypt the information. I took it out and used a friend's Vista Home Premium laptop. On her system, I am unable to get the BitLocker Repair Tool to work. How can I move the data to an external disk and have it decrypted?

Even though you can retrieve files from the BitLocker encrypted drive, you should make sure that BitLocker supports the laptop you use. BitLocker is only designated for Vista Ultimate and maybe Vista Enterprise but not for Home Premium, to make the file restoration smooth, get a supported device first.

On top of that, iBoysoft BitLocker Recovery Software serves here if you lose anything important from the BitLocker encrypted drive. Rest assured and use it as this toolkit recovers your files at a high recovery rate and never steals your information.
