Any way to recover files from a hard drive that won't mount?

I recently had a Seagate portable drive stop working. I was in the middle of editing a video and all of a sudden it showed disconnected. When I tried unplugging it and plugging it back in, it was no longer showing up. When I went to Disk Utility I could see the drive but it was listed as unmounted. When I tried mounting it, it failed. I also tried running first aid which failed. I have all my video files backed up on the unmountable drive, so I need to recover data from it. I ran a free scan with iBoysoft Data Recovery.
