If you deleted your video files to the Trash and then emptied the Trash, it indicates these files have been deleted permanently on your hard drive. You can check whether you can recover them from iCloud Drive, which can hold the deleted files for 30 days.

But if you can not recover them from iCloud, you need to use third-party software to recover them. iBoysoft Data Recovery for Mac is a good choice for you. It can help you recover permanently deleted files, including videos, photos, documents, etc. from all kinds of hard drives. In addition, macOS Sonoma and Apple Silicons are also supported.

  1. Free download and launch iBoysoft Data Recovery for Mac.
  2. Connect your hard drive to your Mac.
  3. Select your hard drive and then click Search for Lost Data.
  4. Locate and preview the search results and then click Recover.

Don't forget to store the recovered file in a different place.
