Hi there, I got my iPhone 8 motherboard fried and I wonder if there is any solution to recover notes, photos, and other files from it?

Hey, my friend. I'm sorry to tell you that the iPhone comes with Secure Enclave which makes it impossible to recover decrypted data on the broken SSD unless the original motherboard and components are intact and functional. If you have enabled iCloud to back up your files and folders with the Apple ID signed in, you can access them from other devices.

Take care~
