How To Recover Deleted Files From SD Card After First Aid?

Hello all, I have a 400GB SanDisk SD card while something really strange happened to one of my folders with a lot of family videos, the folder was completely empty. I tried to eject but it didn't work, then an error message popped up and offered me a choice to force eject my SD card, so I clicked it. I inserted the SD card again but it isn't recognized anymore by my MacBook Pro, I used First Aid to repair the SD card, and the process went successfully but nothing shows on my SD card, and none of my folders. What should I do and how can I get my folders with videos?

Good day, it seems your SD card is corrupted based on your descriptions. I suggest you use iBoysoft Data Recovery Software to scan for lost folders and videos and then replace an HDD for data storage. FIY, SD card is thin and portable yet vulnerable and prone to problems, an external HDD is a better choice obviously.
