How to Import RAW Files from Memory Card to My Mac Pro

I need to import some RAW files from my memory card to the hard drive on my 2015 Mac Pro. Can you tell me how to do that? Thanks!

You can use Image Capture to import your RAW files from your memory card to your Mac Pro losslessly.

Here's how:

  1. Connect your SD card to your Mac Pro.
  2. Go to Launchpad > Other to open Image Capture.
  3. Select your memory card from the left sidebar of the Image Capture window.
  4. Select the files you want to import to your Mac Pro.
  5. Choose a folder from the "Import To" box at the bottom of the window to set a folder where you want to save the RAW files.
  6. Click "Download."

Then, you can check the unprocessed photographic files on your Mac.
