How to fix corrupted APFS drive by formatting it:
Step 1. Go to Disk Utility and select your drive. Remember to select the whole drive instead of only the volume.
Step 2. Click on the Erase button at the right window. Here, you won't be asked to enter the FileVault key. A formatting prompt will pop up and ask you to fill in the chart, including the Name, Format, and Scheme.
Step 3. After assigning required information to the drive, tap on the Erase button again. Once the formatting procedure is finished, click Done and exit Disk Utility.
