How To Fix A LaCie Hard Drive Not Been Recognized Since The macOS Ventura Update?

Since my macOS update to 13.3.1, I have no recognition of my 4TB LaCie hard drive and have checked the cable, used another cable, and tried in all USB ports, and the LaCie is not loading in Finder or Disk utility. The blue light is on but I cannot hear the drive loading. I have no other computer to try the drive in. I started the MacBook in Safe Mode and the LaCie still was not recognized. If the LaCie needs an update, I cannot do this as it is not connecting to the laptop. Any suggestions? the LaCie is only 5 months old.

Given that you have tried so many solutions, I recommend you update macOS to the recently available version, which might have some improvements to your issue. If the macOS update is to no avail, I guess, after all, you have to get another machine to insert the LaCie hard drive and see if it shows up there.

The issue of an external hard drive not being recognized, not showing up, or not being detected on Mac happens frequently, so you'd better back up anything important on the drive regularly to avoid data loss.
