Hi there, Mac equips a native app uninstaller for users to remove an app from, but this method only works fine in removing third-party apps. That is to say, you have no permission to remove the pre-installed apps that come with the operating system, which are crucial parts of running your Mac computer.

Here we'll show you how to uninstall an app from a Mac running Mac OS El Capitan:

  1. Open Launchpad.
  2. Hold down an app's icon until it starts to jiggle.
  3. Click on the delete button.
  4. To uninstall the other apps, drag the apps into the Trash folder.
  5. Open the Trash folder and select Empty.

For macOS High Sierra 10.13 and later macOS users, there is a wonderful app uninstaller called iBoysoft MagicMenu. It is an excellent app remover that not only swiftly removes the app from your Mac, but also lists any associated files such as caches, preference files, user settings/files, downloads, packages, root files, and so on, allowing you to decide which to delete. You may choose the worthless files by toggling the box next to them, and iBoysoft MagicMenu will delete both the software and the files!
