Recover Photos from the SD Card Deleted on iPad2?

I deleted the whole contents of my SD card after uploading it to the iPad 2, in fairness it did ask if I wanted to but I hit the screen as it rotated so it was confirmed in error. I now have the SD card in my iMac and have tried already to run recovery software on the memory device but it doesn't find any deleted items. Does the iPad delete the file? Or iMac would which would explain how the recovery software (tried 3 different products) can't see the deleted files?

Hello, according to your case, you can recover your photos with the fixes below. You should know there are many software for recovering data for SD cards on iPad and Mac:

(1) Try data recovery on Mac. iBoysoft Data Recovery for Mac is a good choice to try, which can help you recover all deleted files from the SD card.

(2) Try data recovery on iPad. You can try some effective apps like PhoneView to ensure a safe recovery on your iPad.

Maybe recovering data on Mac seems more convenient for you, hope that you can find all the data at last.
