How to deal with Full "Other" Space on Mac?

I have a 256GB MacBook Pro, and when I attempt to upgrade to macOS Monterey, it says I don’t have enough disk space. According to “About This Mac,” approximately 100GB of the partition is occupied by apps and data, while 89GB is categorized as “other.” It indicates that I have only 16GB available.
