Windows Tiling is one of the highlights in macOS Sequoia, the latest generation of macOS. This feature is enabled by default when you upgrade your device to macOS Sequoia. 

macOS Sequoia automatically creates a tidy space between windows when tiled. You won't see this if you tile one window over the edge of your screen using Apple's new Window Tiling feature in macOS Sequoia. However, a gap will appear as soon as two tiles are placed adjacent.

It's similar to the gap Apple creates when you drag widgets onto the Mac screen; it's an attempt to make things look tidy. Apple made this deliberate decision, so it's not a mistake, but you can still remove gaps in tiled windows if you want.

How to turn off the gaps in the Window Tiling?

Apple has buried some of the controls for a feature that should help everyone manage the jumble of windows and documents we have open in Settings. Thus, you can go there and change Window Ttiling settings on Mac, you can remove gaps in tiled windows on macOS Sequoia if you don't like it. 

  1. Go to the Apple menu and choose System Settings.
  2. Choose Desktop & Dock on the left sidebar.
  3. On the right pane, scroll down to the Windows section.
  4. Toggle off "Tiled windows have margins".
