How To Remove BitLocker From My iPod Classic?

I accidently installed bitlocker to go on my iPod classic (my company requires it so I cannot remove bitlocker from laptop). When I plug in iPod to laptop, iTunes appears to recognize it and "syncs" but when I remove device it has no playlists, no books, no videos, etc. I believe it has somehow encryted my iPod and I can only get to it through my laptop when plugged in. Is there a way to undo/remove encryption as clearly it is not compatible with iPod.

Hi there, the trouble was that all files on the iPod were encrypted by BitLocker when you connected the iPod to your laptop, making them inaccessible to you on the iPod. It was caused by BitLocker configuration settings. You can connect the iPod to your computer and then disable BitLocker with the following steps:

1. Open Group Policy Editor from the Windows Start menu, and type in:

gpedit.msc

2. When the Group Policy Editor window is open, then follow the path below to disable BitLocker.

Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\BitLocker Drive Encryption\Removable Data Drives\Deny

3. Select the "Disabled" radio button and click OK.

Take care~
