How To Fix Wordbook is Either Deleted or Not Currently Accesible?

When I migrated my files, via Time Machine, from old iMac to new iMac I am now unable to open excel workbooks and Word documents. I received message: "workbook is either deleted or not currently accessible." How can I open these files?
