How to Disable AI Features from macOS 27 Golden Gate to Reclaim Storge

Is it possible to remove AI from macOS Golden Gate? I don’t intend to use Siri Ai under any circumstances and I don’t need AI to help me writing emails or editing photos. System Data and AI are using about 80GB of my 500GB SSD. I want to delete the on-device AI models to reclaim the valuable space.

While you can turn off AI features on macOS 27 Golden Gate, you can’t simply remove or delete the model files to reclaim SSD real estate, even if you choose not to use the features.

They are protected system assets bound to the operating system installation and cannot be selectively deleted or uninstalled from System Settings or Finder.

Instead, try to delete the unnecessary files on your Mac that can be safely removed.

Use iBoysoft Cleaner to analyze your Mac’s storage space and permanently delete the unwanted documents, apps, or other types of data.
