A Full MacBook Pro that Won't Boot Up, Help!

Hi guys.

My 2013 Retina MacBook Pro won’t load past the Apple logo with the spinning wheel. It has a 1 TB SSD that I filled up entirely. I tried to delete enough data to have a successful restart, but it won’t budge with over 10 GB freed.

It has no hardware damage, no liquid damage, or any other software issues. How can I get it up and running again?

Your Mac’s problem is insufficient storage space. If you have a backup of your Mac, I highly recommend you erase the internal hard drive and reinstall macOS from scratch.

If you don’t have a backup, you could also recover the important ones from Recovery Mode and then clean reintall macOS.

Here’s an article discussing recovering data from Recovery Mode:
Run Data Recovery Software in macOS Recovery

Follow this guide to clean reinstall macOS:
Clean Install Any macOS or Mac OS X? (Sequoia/Sonoma/Earlier)

If you have another Mac, you can also access the files on your unbootable Mac through Target Disk Mode, but it’s more complex, as you’ll also need a Thunderbolt cable to connect them.
