MacBook Won't Turn On But Can Hear Charging Noise

My MacBook Pro 16 inch won't turn on! But when I plug in my charger to the port on the MBP, I can hear the charging noise. So, what should I do to boot up my MBP? Thanks for every response.

Hey, have you connected your MacBook to the power source after it absolutely drains the power? If so, the drained battery is the case. You can charge your MBP for a longer time.

If charging your MBP for over 30 minutes changes nothing. Follow these tricks to fix your MacBook that's not turning on but can be charged.

1. Force your Mac to start up: Press the power button for about 10 secs to completely shut down your machine. Wait a moment and then press the power button for 2-3 secs to turn it on.

2. Check the display brightness: Maybe you've accidentally touched the brightness key to decrease the brightness of the screen. So, your MacBook shows a black screen after charging.

3. Reset SMC & NVRAM: SMC controls the power supply of a Mac while NVRAM takes over the system-related settings to keep the Mac working properly. Both of them can fix the possible errors that make the Mac won't boot up. So, try resetting them. Click to learn how to reset SMC and how to reset NVRAM.
