Amanda WongGenmoji is arriving on the Mac with the macOS Sequoia 15.3 beta, enabling users to utilize the specially created emoji characters for the first time. While Genmoji was added to iOS 18.2 and iPadOS 18.2, the macOS 15.2 update did not support the feature.
Now, Apple has made Genmoji available on macOS Sequoia 15.3 so that Mac users can generate their own unique emojis, this post will elaborate on how to use Genmoji on macOS Sequoia 15.3.
What is Genmoji on macOS?
Genmoji is an Apple Intelligence feature introduced in macOS Sequoia 15.3 that enables users to create custom emoji-like images based on text prompts. By describing the desired emoji, Apple Intelligence generates a unique image that can be used in messages and other compatible applications.
A Mac M1 model or later running macOS 15.3 (Public Beta, Developer Beta, or stable) is required for Genmoji to appear. Additionally, you should turn on Apple Intelligence on your device. If you cannot access it, the feature may still be inaccessible in your country or area.
