Free space of deleted BootCamp partition can't be allocated

Hi there. I'm using macOS High Sierra, Version 10.13.4, on a MacBook Air (13-inch, 2017). There is an i5 CPU and 8GB of RAM. The SSD that I use has a capacity of roughly 251 GB, of which 197 GB are allocated to the Macintosh HD main disk, and the rest 53 GB are designated as "Free Space". Some significant storage space is locked behind "Free Space" when I run 'diskutil list'. The most probable reason for that is that it crashed during the Bootcamp uninstall process via BCA and was unable to reallocate the space back into the main drive, which is why it became free space.

When you remove the Windows partition via BootCamp Assistant, the free space of the deleted BootCamp partition should be restored to the macOS partition. Unexpectedly, some Mac users find the free space of the deleted BootCamp partition can't be allocated to the main macOS partition.

You should make sure you have used the right way to remove BootCamp partition from Mac, if it doesn't work, you can fix this issue in this way: back up your Mac, erase the Mac hard drive, and then restore the backup to the drive.
