Upgrade to Catalina but can't mount NTFS drive via Paragon

My USB hard disk will not mount after upgrading to macOS 10.15 Catalina. When I try to mount a USB hard disk, I get an error notice. Paragon NTFS is what I use on my Mac. The error code I receive is this: (apple.DiskManagement.com.disenter error 49153.)

Have you updated Paragon NTFS for Mac after you upgrading to macOS Catalina? In addition to outdated NTFS driver for Mac, USB drive corruption, temporary system glitches, etc., could also be the reason for NTFS not mounting on Catalina.

First, check if the Paragon NTFS for Mac is updated to support Catalina, if the NTFS for Mac not working issue remains, you can try another professional one - iBoysoft NTFS for Mac, it always keeps updated to support the lates macOS.

In case the problem remains, you can fix the com.apple.DiskManagement.disenter error 49153 issue with the following solutions:

  • First Aid the drive in Disk Utility
  • Log out and log back in
  • Restart your Mac
  • Boot up in Safe Mode
  • Quit the fsck process
  • Disable Time Machine automatic backup
  • Try it on another computer
  • Reformat the unmountable drive
