iMac 24 Slow Transfer Speeds on Sandisk Extreme Pro V2 SSD

I'm transferring files from my new iMac (M1) to my Sandisk Extreme Pro V2 1TB drive. The new V2 model drive supports up to 2GB/sec transfer speed. I have used the drive-supplied USB C cable directly from the iMac's ports to the drive. However, the speed is extremely slow as can be seen from my benchmark test. Can you tell me why the new drive is running so slow with my new iMac?

I guess it may be caused by system bugs or third-party software like anti-virus programs.

To check if the system bugs are the case, restart your Mac or update your Mac to the latest version.

To verify if the third-party apps are the troublemakers, simply boot your Mac into Safe Mode. If the transfer speeds become faster, remove the third-party apps that launch from your Mac startup in System Settings > Users & Groups > Login Items. Or, you can directly uninstall these apps.

Moreover, the more files you transfer at the same time, the slower the transfer speed will be.
