How to Fix MacBook Won't Turn On?

My MacBook Air is not turning on. I had put my charging on and the charging plug indicated the signal as green which means fully charged. Then I tapped on the power button but it is not turning on and there is no sound heard while starting the laptop. Can anyone suggests to me what should I do?

When your MacBook is not turning on, it indicates you don't hear a startup chime, a spinning fan, or drive noise, and there are no visuals on your monitor. Your MacBook seems completely dead. You mentioned the charging signal is green which indicates your Mac is fully charged, so that verifies your battery is intact.

You can take the following methods to fix your MacBook won't turn on.

  • Detach all external devices
  • Reset SMC
  • Perform a power cycle for Intel-based Macs
  • Check the display brightness

If you have taken all the above actions but your MacBook still won't turn on, you'd better send your MacBook to the Apple Store or Apple Authorized Services Provider to ask for help. They will diagnose the issue and replace the dead or malfunctioning components for you.
