I tried connecting my external USB drive to my MacBook Air, but it doesn’t mount. Disk Utility shows it as an uninitialized disk. What does it mean? Can I still save an image of this drive?
If your external drive is not mounted, you can’t create a disk image for it to save your files. Instead, you must reply on data recovery software.
I suggest you recover your data with a reliable tool like iBoysoft Data Recovery for Mac, then reformat the external hard drive on Mac.
