Hi everybody, I must remove some programs/tools/applications on my MacBook Pro. However, if I delete only the .app extension, then it might be that some folders and/or files are still kept on my system (e.g. settings, log files, etc.). Do you know if there are some good tools to completely remove ALL/EVERYTHING that an application installed? Or is there perhaps an integrated process/tool inside MacOS? Thanks for your answer. -------------------------------- I have: MacBook Pro (M1 Pro, 2021) MacOS: Ventura 13.4
The common uninstall ways, as we all know, always remove the app only yet leave sorts of associated files including user files, caches, preferences, install packages, extensions, root files, junks, etc on your device. And that’s what makes iBoysoft MagicMenu stand out in the app uninstall methods.
iBoysoft MagicMenu is a remarkable right-click enhancer that allows you to uninstall an app within a few clicks. It collects all relevant files, caches, packages, and extensions of the unwanted app and lists them in a visual table for you to determine what to delete along with the app uninstall.
Now let’s see how to uninstall undesired apps from Mac completely with iBoysoft MagicMenu here:
Step 1: Install iBoysoft MagicMenu on your Mac.
Step 2: Launch this handy app uninstaller and search Uninstall in its main window to have a download. Note that iBoysoft MagicMenu only takes a little space and so does the Uninstall function, which nearly does not influence your Mac.
Step 3: Go to Finder > Applications, locate the apps you want to remove, then right-click it to select Uninstall from the dropdown menu.
Step 4: Wait for this professional app remover to gather all associated files of the will-be-uninstalled app. Once it finishes, check the useless files to let them be removed along with the app.
Step 5: Click Uninstall to confirm your actions and initiate the uninstall progress. This progress may take up to several seconds.
