Help! My SD Card Showing Apple SDXC Reader Media Was not Readable

I have a Canon camera and always use an SD card of 8GB. However, this time the camera stopped recognizing the SD card, and after I used it on Mac, it gave me: The disk you inserted was not readable by this computer.
Please help me, the photos are so important to me.
