I unintentionally deleted some significant files from my MacBook Air, which runs macOS Ventura. They are removed from my desktop, iCloud, and the recycle bin. I tried to restore them from iCloud but it failed. It seemed to me that iCloud was trying to restore the files but it got stuck and showed a spinning wheel and later a message, “The files could not be restored. Try again later.” Is there any chance to get the deleted files back? Thanks!
If I were you, I’d stop saving files to the Mac. You don’t want to risk overwriting the deleted files and rendering them impossible to recover.
If you have another Mac, connect with it through Target Disk Mode, then Download iBoysoft Data Recovery for Mac to find the deleted files. If it can’t find the permanently deleted files on your MacBook, consider visiting a data recovery service center.
A more efficient way to recover permanently deleted files on Mac is to use data recovery in Recovery mode. This doesn’t require a second Mac.
