I have this weird issue with my new MacBook Pro M1 Max. When I right-click by pressing Command and clicking, nothing happens. Instead, I need to move the cursor slightly and click again. This only happens with the trackpad but not with an external mouse. Please help!
First, how is the right-click set up on your Mac? You usually use Control-click to right-click on Mac instead of Command-click.
Have you tried iBoysoft MagicMenu? This is a right-click enhancer that allows you to right-click to move or copy files, uninstall apps, find duplicate files and photos, compress files, etc.
You could also boot into macOS Safe Mode and reboot normally to see if the issue persists.
