I want to install the Windows operating system on my Mac, which I currently own. But since I don’t want to use Boot Camp Assistant, which is Apple’s default tool for this, I want to look into other options. Regretfully, I don’t know of any other trustworthy techniques or resources to complete this task.
Therefore, I respectfully ask for your help and knowledge to walk me through the steps of installing Windows on my Mac without the use of Boot Camp Assistant. I only look for safe and legal ways because I know how important compatible software is and how dangerous it can be to change the operating system.
Of course, you can install Windows on Mac without BootCamp Assistant, that is using a virtual machine such as Parallels. Boot Camp Assistant is not available on Apple Silicon Macs, and applying a virtual machine is universal on both Intel Macs and Apple Silicon Macs to install Windows 11 on Mac.
If you don’t want to use Boot Camp Assistant to install Windows on an Intel-based Mac, or you are using an M1/M2/M3/M4 Mac and the Boot Camp Assistant is not supported, you can try a third-party virtual machine or emulator to install Windows 10/11 on Mac.
You should ensure there is enough disk space on your Mac devices for the new OS to install. If the available disk space is insufficient, you can manually free up disk space on your Mac or try iBoysoft DiskGeeker to delete unnecessary junk files on your Mac.
