I accidentally deleted 3 weeks' worth of photos from my SD card, how can I recover them?

I deleted the images from the SD card of my camera after thinking I had transferred them to my computer. However, I searched my computer after, and they are nowhere to find. It was 3 weeks of personal family photos and work-related photos lost from dates in the first week of July to the last week of July. I only noticed a few days ago. It's possible that the photos were moved to my computer but somehow deleted. I'm not sure. They are not in my trash either, as it automatically deletes everything I put into it. Is there any way to get them back?

You can still retrieve the deleted photos from your SD card with a professional data recovery app as long as they are not overwritten.

If you didn't save any new photos or videos to the SD card, it's possible that the deleted photos are still physically present on the card and can be restored using iBoysoft Data Recovery for Mac. However, if your SD card is completely refilled with new data, it's unlikely to get them back. In a word, the less you use the SD card, the higher the chance of recovering the deleted photos.

Here's how to restore the deleted photos from your SD card on Mac:

Step 1: Free download and install iBoysoft Data Recovery for Mac.

Step 2: Insert your SD card into your Mac.

Step 3: Launch the SD card recovery tool, select your SD card and click "Search for Lost Data."

Step 4: Preview the files that iBoysoft Data Recovery has found for free.

Step 5: Check the boxes next to the files you want to retrieve, then tap Recover and save them to a different location than the SD card that is being used for data recovery.
