Accidentally deleted all iPhone photos on Mac Image Capture

Hi there to all of you. If there is a chance (or a method) to retrieve deleted photos from Image Capture, please let me know. I was downloading the photo from my iPhone using Image Capture. I chose a handful and organized them into different folders. However, when I clicked "Delete Pictures" after they were downloaded, I mistakenly believed that I was only erasing the ones I had just downloaded. I immediately exited the app after realizing that it was deleting an increasing number of photographs. When I checked my iPhone, all the pictures I hadn't downloaded were gone! When I attempted to verify the temporary cached files using the terminal open $TMPDIR, it indicated that I lacked authorization.

Have you checked the selected photos before you delete them? If you choose some photos to download from iPhone to Mac via the Image Capture, and then click the Delete button, it should only delete the selected ones you have already downloaded to your Mac.

In your case, you may have mistakenly selected more photos to download or accidentally included the pictures that were not downloaded to delete. Thus, you should first check the downloaded iPhone photos on your Mac to see whether the mistakenly deleted items are there,  otherwise, the deleted pictures without downloading are permanently deleted from the iPhone, you can only restore them from a backup or third-party iPhone data recovery software such as Disk Drill iPhone Data Recovery, iMobie PhoneRescue, etc.
