I have a 30GB iPod classic (I think it is very old). I wanted to sync it with iTunes, but iTunes couldn’t recognize it. Then I noticed that Windows 10 asks for a BitLocker password. However, the weird thing is I already reset the device to the factory settings, and it shouldn’t ask for it, I guess. I tried the same process both in normal and disk mode. Can someone tell me what is wrong here?
Try these steps:
-
In the search bar on the taskbar, type BitLocker. A list of search results appears.
-
Click Manage BitLocker. The BitLocker Drive Encryption window appears.
-
In the BitLocker Drive Encryption window that appears, find the drive that you want to decrypt and click the Turn Off BitLocker link. You receive a message saying that the drive will be decrypted.
-
Click Turn Off BitLocker. The decryption process starts immediately.
-
Close the BitLocker Drive Encryption window. Then you’re all set!
