I used to be able to click and do a background object removal perfectly. Now the clean up tool isn’t working for me after I upgraded to Tahoe 26 on my iMac with M1. How to get my clean up back? I reaaally need it!
I do have the same experience. After trying the methods Apple provided - enable Apple Intelligence, download additional AI models, rebuild photos library, still nothing good happens to me.
After several tests, I found it’s the photo format issue. Clean up tool didn’t work for RAW format. You use other format photos to have a test again?
On top of raw photo format, another small point you might also miss - make sure you are connected to a stable Wi-Fi network. If a network error appears, disconnect and reconnect to your Wi-Fi, or try a different network. Remember NOT to connect to a mobile hotspots. This is often restricted.
