I accidentally formatted my LaCie 1TB Thunderbolt drive when installing Windows via Boot Camp. It has lots of important Final Cut Pro files, and now I can’t recover them. I’ve tried Data Rescue 3. It shows some of the deleted files but not all. Please help me get my files back.
You can still recover all the deleted files as long as they are not overwritten. Don’t do anything with the drive now. Start data recovery right away but with a professional data recovery tool like iBoysoft Data Recovery for Mac.
Remember to save the recovered files to another drive. For example, you can save them on your Mac or another external drive.
Different tools have different capabilities. Try a better data recovery tool.
