Out of nowhere, my MacBook Pro suddenly stopped working with total loss of power. The service center said they can’t power this MBP, which has a soldered SSD, and data recovery is impossible. It seems that the T2 chip would prevent any form of data recovery due to the encryption.
If your MacBook Pro can’t even power up, the logic board is likely broken. Regular data recovery software won’t work. Your only hope is to look for a professional data recovery service.
BTW, Apple doesn’t provide data recovery service.
