I have a couple of NTFS-formatted drives that mount fine on Windows but won’t work on macOS, even though I have the latest Paragon NTFS installed for read/write access. How can I fix this?
NTFS is indeed read-only on Mac and you’ll need a third-party NTFS driver to write to it, if you don’t want a reformat or use some risky tweaks. Have you tried other NTFS for Mac tools?
iBoysoft NTFS for Mac can mount NTFS drives on Mac in read/write mode and should support both brands properly. It’s also more stable than Paragon and Tuxera during macOS updates.
thx! I’ll give it a try later when I get access to my Mac.
I came across the same issue and resolved it using this tool. Here’s the official download link of iBoysoft NTFS for Mac. Grab it if you want.
