Is using Boot Camp to have Windows safe?

Is Boot Camp safe to use? Boot Camp is a tool specifically designed for Mac, and I think it’s reliable, but I’m not entirely sure. Could someone tell me what I should pay attention to when using it?

Boot Camp is safe, but you should ensure to download and install Boot Camp and its drivers through the official Apple website or the built-in Boot Camp Assistant on your Mac to avoid the risk of your computer being infected by viruses from unsafe third-party versions.

When using Boot Camp, ensure to back up important files on your Mac before partitioning the hard drive to install Windows. While Boot Camp operations are generally safe, hard drive partitioning involves reallocating disk space, which may lead to data loss.

Additionally, Boot Camp only supports Intel-based Macs. If you have an M1, M2, or other Apple Silicon Mac, Boot Camp will not work. In such cases, you can consider alternative methods for running Windows, such as using a virtual machine.
