I tried the Compress feature in iBoysoft MagicMenu, but now I’m stuck in the compressing process. I’m happy that it allows me to password-protect the archive and choose from three compression levels. However, it’s frustrating to find it frozen during compression. Please help me fix it!
Can you cancel the compression and try it again?
If there’s no button to cancel it, try to quit the app by right-clicking its icon in the menu bar and choosing Quit. Then you can reopen the app to compress the files.
You could also try a reboot.
If your Mac is stuck on the compression process, it could result from several reasons, including a large file size, corrupted files, not enough space, or issues with the compressor.
Try these tips:
If the overall file size is big, break it down to smaller zips. This is also helpful in discovering the actual culprit.
