Hello, everyone! My friend has an iMac with an HP S700 SSD, but it won’t turn on. So I pulled the SSD out to retrieve the data on it. However, I just an’t get it to come up on my MacBook Air. Can you help me recover data from the SSD?
Is it showing up in Disk Utility?
If it is, you just need to mount it. To do this, select the SSD and click the Mount button. Or run First Aid to repair it.
How are you connecting it to your Mac?
You should put the SSD in an enclosure and then reboot your Mac and attach the SD’s closure.
To restore data from this SSD, try using iBoysoft Data Recovery for Mac. Just download it and then check the drive it detects. If it finds the HP SSD, scan the drive to retrieve files. If it doesn’t, it’s best to find professional help.
