I need to run a Windows program on my Mac but I don’t want to partition my drive. is it possible to use an external drive formatted to run the Windows program instead?
Use a virtual machine like Parallels, Fusion, or VirtualBox to install Windows without partitioning your drive. Neither Microsoft nor Boot Camp supports installing Windows on an external drive.
