Hello, I need to create a .txt file, but I’m using an iPad on iOS 15 and I have no idea how to do that.
If you suggest the document scanner, I won’t use it because I don’t understand how it works.
PS: I don’t own a Mac or any computer, so any computer-based solutions won’t be useful to me. I’m only interested in solutions that involve the iPad.
I don’t think there are any built-in tools for creating a text file on iPad, so you’ll probably need to download an app from the App Store.
Maybe you can try exporting from Pages, but it’s likely to export as a PDF or rich text (RTF).
In your case, to create a .txt file on your iPad, you can use a note-taking app like Notes or a text editor from the App Store.
In the Notes app, simply create a new note and then export or share it as a .txt file using the “Share” option.
Alternatively, apps like Textastic or Notepad can also help you create and save .txt files directly.
Hope these can resolve your doubts.
Here are a few ways to create a .txt file on iPad:
-
Notes App: Open the Notes app, create a new note, and type your text. You can then share it via email and choose “Save to Files” to save it as a .txt file.
-
Pages App: Create a document in Pages, then use the export feature to save it as a .txt file (if available).
-
Text Editor Apps: Download a dedicated text editor app(you can search), which allows you to create and save .txt files directly.
