I’ve used iBoysoft BitLocker for Mac to access my BitLocker-encrypted external drive on my Mac. I know that this tool also supports encrypting NTFS, exFAT, and FAT32 drives with BitLocker.
I tried using it to encrypt my NTFS external drive, and found that iBoysoft BitLocker lets you choose a destination to save the BitLocker recovery key (what you say BitLocker-encrypted key) or just print it.
You can save the BitLocker recovery key to your frequently used folder and back it up to iCloud, Notes, or any other place you want.
