How can I create a Windows 11 installation media on my M3 Mac?

I just switched from a ThinkPad Windows laptop, which It used for a long time, to an M3 MacBook Pro. It took me a few days to set up most of the things. However, I couldn’t find a way to create a Windows 11 installation media on my Mac. There are a lot of free apps available on Windows for creating bootable USBs, but it seems different on macOS. Some recommended using Boot Camp. However, it’s not in the Applications folder of my M3 Mac. Could someone shed light on this?

There are three ways to create a Windows 11 installation media on an M3 Mac for free:

  1. Use a third-party bootable USB creator for Mac, such as the free, open-source WinDiskWriter.
  2. Run Terminal commands to burn Windows to a USB.
  3. Create a Windows virtual machine on the M3 Mac and use Rufus or another Windows tool to create the installation media.

Boot Camp Assistant is only available on Intel-based Macs. You won’t find it on an Apple Silicon M1/M2/M3 Mac.
