I’m trying to decide whether I need a new Mac or not. When I run First Aid, it always gives me the error, “The volume /dev/rdisk1s1 was found to be corrupt and needs to be repaired.” Although the error can be repaired, it will reappear after a few hours.
Does your Mac have any issues? If not, there’s nothing you should worry about.
Have you tried updating macOS? First Aid isn’t very trustworthy. I know a friend who also had a problem with First Aid. He wanted to make sure his Mac was ok, so he ran First Aid to check for disk issues. First Aid reported issues, but his Mac has no problem.
