Some of the important files on my Mac are synced to iCloud Drive, and I edit those files quite often. I wonder if I can right-click on those cloud-synced folders to create new files or delete unwanted files directly?
Have you tried iBoysoft MagicMenu?
If not, try it out. It’s a macOS right-click enhancer that empowers you to perform various tasks efficiently with a right-click. Features like creating new files or deleting files directly are included in this app as well as many other useful functions.
Here’s how to get a feature-rich context menu in iCloud Drive:
- First, install the app if you haven’t already.
- Open it and select Extension from the sidebar on the left.
- Download all the extensions you need.
- Click Settings from the left, then enable “Show right-click menu in iCloud Drives…”
- Click Grant accessibility permission and Grant automation permission to enable context menu extensions in iCloud Drives and similar folders.
- Right-click to use the enhanced context menu in iCloud Drive.
I don’t think you can do it without a third-party app. Just make sure that it’s from a trustworthy source.
