After updating my Mac to the newest available operating system, my hard drive refuses my writing actions, what’s going on here? I can carry on any editing actions on it before this update. Is the update wrong or is my hard drive broken? My drive is NTFS formatted and an NTFS driver for Mac is installed on my Mac, FYI.
Hi there, since you have mentioned your hard drive was formatted to the NTFS file system with an NTFS driver for Mac so that you can write it without a hitch, then I presumably tell you that the NTFS driver is not available on the operating system the machine upgraded, resulting in the writing failure on your Mac.
You’re recommended to use iBoysoft NTFS for Mac to write the NTFS formatted hard drive on your Mac, which always keeps in line with the OS update and provide full support. With it, you will never suffer from the issue that you can’t write to your external hard drive after the macOS update.
