Can I Recover Data from a Drive that was Formatted from NTFs to HFS+ and Used with Time Machine?

I had a hard drive that was once formatted in NTFS with years’ worth of pictures on it. Then someone formatted it into HFS+ and used it as a Time Machine backup disk. I tried to recover the old pictures with Data Rescue 3, but it only found old Time Machine files. Is there any hope of getting back the pictures that were saved when the disk was NTFS formatted?

It seems that the old pictures are overwritten by the new Time Machine files, causing them to be unrecoverable.

If you’re lucky, there may still be a chance that some of the pictures can be recovered with the right tool. Download iBoysoft Data Recovery for Mac to preview the recoverable files. If it can’t find your pictures, thery are likely forever gone.
