How to Recover Lost Videos on SD Card from MacBook?

I transferred videos from an SD card to my MacBook Pro. I'm pretty sure they were all shown in the folder. 2 days later I was ready to edit them I found that only 2 out of 12 were shown in the folder! What happened and how can I recover them? (I had already deleted them from the SD card).

Hi there! Have you ever written new content to the SD card after you deleted videos?

If the answer is NO, then I would be pretty confident you can recover the lost videos from SD card with the help of third-party software iBoysoft Data Recovery for Mac.

iBoysoft Data Recovery for Mac is the best software to recover data from SD card and other storage media on your MacBook. Finder-like interface makes it easier and smoother to complete data recovery. You can follow the steps shown below to recover SD card data.

  1. Free download, install, and launch iBoysoft Data Recovery for Mac.
  2. Connect your SD card to the MacBook.
  3. Choose “Storage Device” on the left side panel and select your SD card on the right. Click “Search for Lost Data” to start the scan.
  4. Preview recoverable files in the scanning results, tick the files you want, and click the “Recover” button to start recovery. You need to choose a different location to store the recovered data to prevent overwriting.

Hope you find my answer helpful! Good luck!
