I feel sorry but I must tell you that you cannot copy files to a Windows NTFS hard drive on a Mac due to Windows copyrights unless you format the drive to an APFS file system or use an NTFS for Mac driver.
You're less recommended to format the drive to APFS since you have to back up the target drive or the files will be erased during the formatting. Moreover, frequent hard drive formatting shortens the drive's life span.
iBoysoft NTFS for Mac is suggested here which mounts your NTFS hard drive in read/write mode on Mac automatically once you use it on your device, then you can copy, delete, edit, rename, write, move, save, and delete files to the NTFS drive without a hitch. This NTFS for Mac utility supports macOS Sequoia 15 - macOS High Sierra 10.13.
